Saturday, May 13 – Dublin

Fáilte! Welcome to Ireland. Arrive in Dublin at any time and make your way to the hotel.

This evening, meet your Tour Leader and fellow travellers for a welcome meeting and an introduction to the journey ahead. Those interested may join the group afterward for an optional meal at a local restaurant.


Sunday, May 14 – Dublin

Begin the day with an orientation walk through Dublin, followed by time to explore the city at your own pace. Discover the Medieval Quarter, visit St. Patrick’s Cathedral or Dublin Castle, or stop by one of the city’s celebrated whiskey distilleries.

Later, visit Trinity College, founded in 1592, to see the beautifully illuminated Book of Kells and the historic Long Room, home to some of the library’s oldest collections.

This evening, settle into a traditional Irish pub for a three-course dinner accompanied by live music and captivating stories of Ireland’s history, folklore, and traditions. (B, D)


Monday, May 15 – Dublin to Cork

Travel south to Cork, known for its independent spirit, colourful streets, and lively cultural scene. An orientation walk will introduce you to the city before the rest of the day is yours to explore.

Browse the stalls of the historic English Market, visit the former Cork City Gaol, learn about the Titanic at the original White Star Line ticket office, or relax over a locally brewed pint of Murphy’s Irish Stout. (B)


Tuesday, May 16 – Cork to Blarney & Killarney

Begin the day at Blarney Castle, one of Ireland’s most famous landmarks. Explore the historic grounds and climb to the top of the castle to kiss the legendary Blarney Stone, said to bestow the gift of eloquence.

Continue to Killarney for an afternoon whiskey and chocolate tasting led by a local expert. Sample four distinctive Irish whiskeys, learn about their unique characteristics, and discover the chocolates that pair best with each style. This evening, you may choose to attend an optional traditional Celtic dance performance. (B)


Wednesday, May 17 – Ring of Kerry

Spend the day exploring the Ring of Kerry, one of Ireland’s most celebrated scenic routes. Travel through the dramatic landscapes of the Iveragh Peninsula, where rugged coastline, green forests, historic churches, and picturesque villages reveal the beauty of rural Ireland.

Pass through Kenmare, Sneem, Waterville, and several traditional coastal communities before returning to Killarney for an evening at leisure. (B)


Thursday, May 18 – Killarney to the Cliffs of Moher & Galway

Travel to the Cliffs of Moher and board a scenic cruise along the Atlantic coast. See the towering cliffs rise dramatically above the water, with views of sea caves, distant islands, and the seabirds that inhabit this windswept landscape. During May and early July, you may even spot puffins nesting along the cliffs.

After the cruise, visit the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre before continuing to Galway, a historic harbour city and gateway to one of Ireland’s remaining Irish-speaking regions. (B)


Friday, May 19 – Galway

Discover Galway on a guided walking tour through the city’s medieval heart. Visit Eyre Square, see remnants of the original town walls, and hear the stories connected to landmarks such as Lynch’s Castle, Galway Cathedral, and the Collegiate Church of St. Nicholas.

The afternoon is free to explore Galway’s historic streets, independent shops, galleries, and lively music scene at your own pace. (B)


Saturday, May 20 – Galway to Dublin

Return to Dublin this morning and enjoy a free afternoon in Ireland’s capital. Stroll through the gardens of St. Stephen’s Green, explore the National Museum of Ireland, visit the Guinness Storehouse, or spend time among the historic pubs and colourful streets of Temple Bar.

This evening, you may choose to gather with your fellow travellers for an optional farewell dinner at a local restaurant. (B)
