Arrive in Scotland’s enchanting capital at your leisure. Take time to explore the city before gathering for a welcome meeting in the evening, where you’ll meet your group and tour leader. Settle in and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Sunday, May 10 | Edinburgh

Step into history on a guided walking tour of Edinburgh, following the famed Royal Mile to Edinburgh Castle. Learn about its past as a royal residence, fortress, and prison as you explore its key sites, including St. Margaret’s Chapel and the grand Portcullis Gate. Enjoy the afternoon at your own pace—perhaps discovering the city’s underground vaults or visiting the National Museum of Scotland. The evening is free to dine at one of Edinburgh’s many excellent restaurants. (B)

Monday, May 11 | Edinburgh – Pitlochry

Depart Edinburgh and journey to the picturesque town of Pitlochry. En route, visit Stirling Castle, a proud symbol of Scottish independence. Explore its opulent halls, gardens, and Great Kitchens before stopping in Stirling’s charming city centre for lunch. Continue to the Scottish Crannog Centre on the shores of Loch Tay, where you’ll step back in time to discover how Iron Age communities lived. Arrive in Pitlochry in the evening, with free time to enjoy dinner at your leisure. (B)

Tuesday, May 12 | Pitlochry

This morning, embark on a guided walk through Pitlochry, learning about its Victorian heritage and stunning natural surroundings. The tour concludes at Blair Athol Distillery, where you’ll enjoy a whisky tasting and gain insight into the craft behind Scotland’s famed single malts. In the afternoon, visit Queen’s View, a scenic overlook said to be named after Queen Victoria. Choose to return to Pitlochry or explore the historic Blair Castle and its beautiful gardens. Wednesday, May 13 | Pitlochry – Fort William

Travel deeper into the Highlands, stopping in Kincraig to visit a family-run sheepdog farm. Witness a fascinating demonstration and learn about the deep bond between shepherds and their dogs. Continue to Aviemore for lunch, then visit Culloden Moor, the site of the Jacobite Rising’s final battle. Stand where history was made and experience an immersive 360-degree exhibition.
